Cabo Roig is called "the jewel" of Costa Blanca for its prestigious marina, long sandy beaches, luxurious villas. Even the King of Spain have been spotted there. Cabo Roig was developped around and an old watchtower which was turned into a fashionable restaurant with excellent food served with wine from own wine cellar situated in the tower. You can visit a museum there a well. Two well kept sandy beaches Cala Caleta and Cala Capitan are blue flag marked for their cleaness and a range of offered water sports, including scuba diving. Cabo Roig is a part of Orihuela Costa with its famous 16 km cost line walk from Torrevieja to Campoamor. The climate takes advantage of the salt lakes with its well known health effects for those who suffer from rheumatism, asthma, bronchitis and other respiratory problems. There are mud baths and other treatments available locally. Should you want to relax in full isolation or naked you can make use of continious series of sandy beaches formed by small cliffs. There is also a small nudist beach there.
